To run Eclipse:

1) Using a Windows PC, extract eclipse-ide-ts7000.zip to c:\eclipse
2) Double-click runEclipse-Win-DiskC.bat to start Eclipse.


To build a "helloworld" project:

1) Select the "Console" tab to be able to see the compiler output messages
2) Right click the project name
3) Select "Build Configurations" -> "Build" -> "All"


To create a project from scratch:

1) Select menu -> new -> c project
1.1) Give it a project name
1.2) Deselect "show project types and toolchains only..."
1.3) select Executable - Hello World ANSI C Project
1.4) Select linux GCC and click next
1.5) Change settings if needed, click Next
1.6) Select either Release or Debug, click advanced settings
On the Properties for "Project Name" window:
2) C/C++ Build -> Discovery Option
2.1) For both Discovery profiles, set Compiler invocation command: arm-none-linux-gnueabi-gcc.exe 
3) C/C++ Build -> Settings
3.1) Set GCC C Compiler command: arm-none-linux-gnueabi-gcc.exe
3.2) Set GCC C Linker: command: arm-none-linux-gnueabi-gcc.exe
3.3) Set GCC Assembler: command: arm-none-linux-gnueabi-as.exe
3.4) Include in GCC C Linker -> Miscellaneous -> Linker flags: -static
4) C/C++ Build -> Tool Chain Editor
4.1) Change Current Builder to "CDT Internal Builder"
5) Click Ok
6) Click Finish (your project will now be created and ready to be built)
7) Build your Project, change settings and code as needed
